Florida Arbor Day Celebration
PUNTA GORDA GARDEN CLUB'S ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION The Punta Gorda Garden Club will celebrate Florida Arbor Day with a tree planting ceremony at 11:00 am on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Punta Gorda History Park, 501 Shreve St. During a brief ceremony Mayor Lynn Matthews will present a proclamation, and members of the Club will plant a gumbo limbo tree, a Charlotte County native species. Members of the public are invited to join in the celebration.
