Trick or Trot 5k Trail Run
Zoomers Southwest Florida Running & Triathlon Club hosts its annual scholarship fundraising race. All ages are welcome to join in this Halloween-themed (costumes encouraged!) 5k trail run through Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in North Port, Florida. The course is on a mixed-surface trail of mostly dirt and gravel. Awards for Overall, Youth, Masters, Grand, and Senior Masters, Veteran Masters, and top 3 Male/Female in each age group. Award for best costume. Finisher's medals for all runners and a really cool shirt. Proceeds benefit Zoomers youth scholarships, and area high school athletics including swimming and cross-country teams at CHS, PCHS, NPH, and VHS. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded.
