CC Economic Development Partnership General Meeting
The Charlotte County Economic Development Partnership (EDP) will host its General Meeting on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Isles Yacht Club, 1780 W Marion Ave, Punta Gorda. This year’s theme, “Referendum 2026 — Shaping Our Future Together,” will spotlight the important community discussions and decisions ahead.

Featured speakers include Emily Lewis, Deputy County Administrator, who will discuss the County’s Local Option 1% Sales Tax, and John LeClair, Chairman of the Charlotte County School Board, who will address the proposed 1-mill property tax to fund Charlotte County Public Schools.
This meeting will provide critical insights into the measures that directly impact Charlotte County’s economic growth, infrastructure, and quality of life. We invite our community partners in the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce to join the conversation.
The event will also feature partnership updates, recent achievements, and a look at priorities for the upcoming quarter. Business and civic leaders, community members, and invited guests will also encouraged to attend.
