We are hiring a STAFFING COORDINATOR to join our team in historic downtown Fort Myers, Florida.
In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting and registering prospective temporary employees for various personnel positions for our client companies. To ensure success as a staffing Associate, you should be well-versed in customer service skills and match suitable candidates to the open positions. Ultimately, a staffing coordinator is an effective communicator who can work on multiple projects promptly. Bilingual English/Spanish and the ability to work independently are helpful.
You will provide suburb customer service support to our Southwest Florida clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts in a pleasant, friendly manner
- Maintain personnel records in compliance with HR regulations
- Data entry, review, and update employment records and client profile information within the computer database
- Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations
- Communicate relevant information to temporary employees, job applicants, and client companies
- Data entry, email, scan, light clerical duties
- Recruiting prospective employees and client companies using databases, social media platforms, and professional networks.
- Implement interview questions and screening procedures for individual positions
- Write and post job advertisements to appropriate job boards, print media, and digital platforms.
- Register candidates, conduct background verification, and assess their skills, experience, and aptitudes for job opening
- Background screening, employment verifications, E-Verify.
- Social media savvy
- Assisting with the orientation of the new temporary employee
- Creating weekly reports for management review.
- Ability to work with a team and work independently
?Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of previous experience in staffing, recruiting, and employment agency industries
- General knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb customer service skills
- Sales-driven attitude
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Administrative experience in telephone answering, data entry, scanning, copying, file, and proper email correspondence
